Communications Planning & Community Engagement
LCI works with key members of the administration to develop the key skills and capacities to ensure that the Nation is making the best use of the opportunity to communicate and share information.
Our goal is for the Nation to have the skills and capacities, in-house, to deliver high quality communications, after receiving this service.
A strong brand, identity and culture is important for all organizations including First Nations, to lead to inclusive wellness. The messages that we share, and how we share them, have a strong impact on all peoples.
As community leaders, the Administration and Governance of a First Nation has a disproportionate impact on the ability to create a world of inspiration, kindness, and revitalized culture.
Communications planning begins by looking at the Nation’s strategic plan, connecting with the executive branch of the administration, and receiving feedback and input from leadership and membership, as appropriate. A strategic communications plan is formed from this information and combined with industry best practices of First Nations community engagement and modern marketing and communications.
The strategic communications plan acts as both a communications resources and guide that ensures that Nation never misses the opportuntiy to share valuable information in timely and meaningful ways with the community, and whoever else may require it.
