Leadership Mentoring & Advising
First Nations are global leaders. All leaders became leaders through mentorship – we are here to help continue that tradition forward.
We base our leadership mentorship and training on cultural values and the best practices in governance.
We honour the fact that culture and tradition have the most to teach us about how to be leaders and our methodology seeks to assist our clients in pulling their teaching out to the forefront in order to inform action. We then add in some additional elements to ensure business and governance continuity is met while the Nation embarks on a path of cultural revitalization.
LCI provides Leadership coaching to new and long standing elected and administrative leaders on the beast practices and lessons learned from decades of administrative and leadership governance / administration.
Led by Dr. Barney Williams, James Edwards, and Ted Adnitt, our Leadership mentorship program puts their combined 120 years of professional work experience in your hands. We have developed a suite of guides, training workshops, resources, tools and exercises.
LCI’s unique approach, based on our significant in-community experience, allows our team to focus on the unique areas of importance to your community. We look for and address the underlying concerns that cause, providing new skills and knowledge to deal with the toughest challenges facing leadership.
We believe that other communities are looking towards First Nations for guidance on leadership – Lets show them how it’s done, together.
